

Artistic Director

Evanne Wilhelm is a passionate choral conductor and music educator based in Regina, Saskatchewan. In 2023, she was appointed Artistic Director of the Regina Philharmonic Chorus and has served as Director of Music at Holy Rosary Cathedral since 2021. Mrs. Wilhelm also teaches at Luther College High School, where she conducts the Grade 9 & 10 Treble Chorus and Handbells and works as a half-time librarian. Most recently, she completed her Master of Music Performance in Choral Conducting under Dr. Jennifer Lang at the University of Saskatchewan in June 2025. During her graduate studies she was the proud recipient of the David L. Kaplan Scholarship (2024), the USask Music Department Entrance Scholarship (2024), and the School for the Arts Graduate Scholarship (2025). Additionally, Evanne holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Regina and spent 15 years in Estevan conducting youth and community choirs and directing musicals and plays. In 2018, she was nominated for the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards in Education and Mentorship. Evanne is a proud wife, a busy mother of two, and the eldest daughter of a close-knit and musical family. When not in rehearsals, you will often find her running between a hockey rink, music lessons, a basketball court, or a dance studio, and spending time with family!
